Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were clean, nice, cosy, and warm, with a mix of double and twin configurations that were ready when I arrived. The service was very accommodating throughout the restaurant, bar, and reception, with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The location was perfect for various occasions, from a pleasant stay after driving along the Antrim Coast to hosting special celebrations. However, the dining experience could be improved, as some of the hot food was lukewarm and not up to the hotel's standard.
I hosted my Uncle Peter's 90th birthday celebrations, so the hotel's location was extremely convenient. The rooms, although lacking small windows, were comfortable, and the food was excellent. However, the service left much to be desired with unfriendly staff and some hygiene concerns. The location was perfect for the event and evening entertainment, despite being near heavy machinery. The dining experience was average, and the facilities were decent though not exceptional.
The hotel had clean and comfy rooms and friendly staff, in a great location not far from Belfast city centre. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
I had a warm stay and couldn't sleep until 3 am, but the spacious rooms with comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms were good. The service was fantastic, with the staff being helpful and even cooking eggs to order. The location, convenient for my Uncle Peter's 90th birthday celebrations and not far from Belfast city centre, was really nice, possibly the best thing about it; The dining experience was not up to par with the hotel, but the staff were excellent. Overall, a stay worth a visit for enjoying the city.
Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were so warm that I couldn't get to sleep until about 3 am, but they were outstanding for us and our children, more like a suite, with comfortable beds that kept us lovely and warm all through the night. The service was fantastic; the staff were nothing but helpful, always there to assist with any questions we had, and they were so polite and welcoming. The location was probably the best thing about it, convenient for hosting Uncle Peter's 90th birthday celebrations and fine for our visit from Scotland. The dining experience was not up to the standard of the hotel, but the staff were excellent help. On the bright side, the food was still lovely and hot when it got to us. As for facilities, they were great, particularly the area for the kids to unwind for a bit.
I stayed at the hotel right by the ocean and Cerrickfergus Castle. The room had some cleanliness issues like hair in the bathtub and sink. Unfortunately, there was no travel cot for my infant, and the TV remote didn’t work. Additionally, there was a blood stain on the bed sheet.
The hotel is positioned right next to the lift lobby, which can get noisy with people coming and going, especially during events. The rooms are large and clean, though the noise from the carpark and outside can be disruptive at times. The proximity to the Imperial Suite's grand marble staircase adds a touch of elegance.
The hotel's location is perfect, right beside the castle and ideal for visiting Carrickfergus. The rooms could do with adjustments as they were uncomfortably hot and lacked freshness. The service was friendly, although a bit slow during check-out. The dining experience offered a good variety, but the staff seemed preoccupied with other tasks. Overall, the hotel is in a lovely area but lacks some attention to details.
The hotel was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We were even pleasantly surprised with a 'Happy Birthday' song sung by all in the room. Overall, a clean and cozy stay, but some staff could have been more welcoming and friendly.
The hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were positioned right next to the lift lobby and directly next to builders using heavy machinery, which was not ideal. On the positive side, the room itself was fantastic, nice, and cosy, and the location was convenient being literally beside the front entrance. The service was attentive and friendly, although a bit quirky with the waitress's humorous mix-up. The dining experience had its ups and downs with self-service and breakfast quality. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
